The first thing we do is to identify the cylinder, photograph it and take measurements. This way, after disassembling it, we have the right information to return it to you just as you sent it to us, with no surprises when reassembling it in the machine.

We always carry out an initial test, to quantify the damage and detect possible additional damage that could be hidden.

We clean and disassemble it, identify the seals, check the parts and measure the tolerances.

If we have any doubts, we check the state of the welds.

With all this information, we can now quote the repair.

If the cylinder rod is damaged, we will try to repair it by grinding it and applying a subsequent layer of chrome to restore the initial diameter. A further grinding will give the final finish to make it as good as new. If the damage is too deep, we will offer to manufacture a new rod.

We can also repair damages in the cylinder tube by lapping, if the resulting clearances and the sealing system allow it. If this is not possible, we offer to manufacture a new tube.

Is it necessary to machine any part of the cylinder? No problem, however complex it may be.

Leaky welds? We repair them if necessary with full guarantee.

We replace damaged gaskets with top quality references; we do not take any risk. If you have a long lead time and can’t wait, we can make them to measure..

We assemble every part with care and carry out a final function test. This way we rule out possible assembly faults and check that it is perfect.

Finally, a paint treatment and it is ready to go back into production. We identify it with our repair order so that you have traceability. In addition, we record all the information so that the next repair will be even faster.

By the way, if during the process we detect that something can be improved, we will tell you. It’s up to you.

And if you request it, we send you a report with photographs and the work carried out. This way you can document your maintenance processes.
